Recipe article: When I think of “Receitas Baratas” that make a lot and please the whole family, “Lasanha de Frango” always comes to mind. It combines practicality, simple ingredients and that irresistible flavor, perfect for a Sunday lunch, special dates or even to save money during the week without giving up the pleasure of the table.

    How to Make Chicken Lasagna:

The preparation begins by sautéing the shredded chicken with seasonings, tomatoes and tomato sauce, creating a succulent filling. Then, I prepare an easy white sauce with cream and cream cheese. The assembly alternates layers of pasta, chicken, turkey breast, cheese and sauce, finishing with oregano and baking until golden brown. Check out the full recipe below with tips and suggestions.

    Ingredients:

    For the chicken filling:

    Oil (a little)

    1 chopped onion

    5 chopped garlic cloves

1 kg of cooked and shredded chicken breast

    Salt to taste

    2 sachets of chicken seasoning

    Black pepper to taste

    Oregano to taste

    Paprika to taste

    1 chopped tomato

    2 tablespoons of chopped olives

    200 ml of water

3 sachets of tomato sauce (900g)

    3 tablespoons of ketchup

    Chives to taste

    White sauce:

    400g of cream

    200g of cream cheese

    Assembly:

    500g of lasagna pasta (pre-cooked or pastel-style)

400g of turkey breast (or ham)

    400g of sliced mozzarella

    Oregano to taste

    Detailed Step by Step:

    1. Preparing the Chicken

In a pan, heat the oil a little of oil and brown the onion.

Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the shredded chicken, season with salt, pepper, seasoning packets, oregano and paprika. Mix in the tomato and olives and sauté a little more.

Add the tomato sauce packets, water and ketchup. Mix well.

Adjust the seasoning, finish with chives and set aside.

    2. White Sauce

Mix the cream and cream cheese in a bowl.

Microwave for 1 minute to melt and mix until smooth.

    3. Assembling the Lasagna

Spread some of the chicken sauce at the bottom of a baking dish (approx. 35×23 cm).

I make a layer of dough, followed by chicken sauce, white sauce, turkey breast and mozzarella. I repeat the layers until I run out of ingredients, finishing with mozzarella and oregano. I put it in the oven preheated to 180°C for about 35 minutes, until it browns.

    Recipe Combinations:

I love serving this lasagna with a fresh green salad, white rice or even some crispy garlic bread. As an accompaniment, a natural juice or soda completes the meal. It also goes great with sautéed vegetables.

    Tips:

For a juicier chicken, cook it with seasonings and shred it while still hot in a blender. If you prefer, replace the turkey breast with ham or just use mozzarella.

Be careful with the salt: turkey breast and mozzarella are already salty, adjust the seasoning of the sauce carefully. If you want a creamier lasagna, increase the amount of white sauce.

Use pre-cooked or pastry-type pasta to make it easier to prepare and ensure tenderness.

    Conclusion:

This chicken lasagna is the perfect choice when I want cheap, filling and flavorful recipes. It makes a lot, is easy to prepare and wins over everyone at the table. With simple ingredients and a practical step-by-step guide, you can transform a traditional dish into a real success. Try it, share it with your family and enjoy every bite!
