    • Ensure the quality while supplying or purchasing:

    There is no better rule than FIFO When it comes to food distribution. The term FIFO means first in, first out. So, you need to distribute the item that comes first. On the other hand, the food items that come last will go at the end. This way, you can limit the expiry risks. Know that FIFO works the best for all food items. This rule can minimize the risk of expired items. 

    • The temperature while cooking:

    Food safety is also essential while you cook the food. Not cooking the food at the required and appropriate temperature will spoil the food. It is better to use a thermometer to know if you are at the required temperature or not. Cooking the meals at a high temperature will help you kill bacteria. You can rot your food if you are cooking at low temperature than what is required.

    • The storage temperature of cooked food

    You will also require a separate guideline for storing the food after cooking. It is better to keep the food in the fridge if the storage is only for two or three days. But if you have to store the food for more than that, you need to keep the food packed in the freezer.
